Akuma no Riddle anime review

Today for the first anime review on this site I am doing Akuma no Riddle (Or Riddle Story of Devil)

It has twelve episodes and it's tags are: Action, School, Shoujo Ai, and Romance.

Akuma no Riddle is about Tokaku Azuma has just transferred to the elite Myoujou Academy, a private girls' boarding school. But there's a catch: she, along with 11 of her fellow students in Class Black, is an assassin taking part in the challenge to kill their sweet-natured classmate, Haru Ichinose. Whoever succeeds will be granted their deepest desire, no matter the difficulty or cost. However, each assassin only gets one chance; if they fail to kill her, they will be expelled.Despite the extraordinary reward, Tokaku decides to take a different course of action. Though Haru is her target, the young assassin soon finds herself drawn to the very girl she is supposed to kill. With the entire class out for Haru, Tokaku refuses to let her friend die, vowing to protect her from a growing bloodlust.

Plot 4/10

It has some major flaws that can be easily notice and leaves somethings un-explained

- Haru's background story makes it unclear to why there's such a big reward for killing her, I don't think that her being part of a big and influential clan is enough to cause this.

-At the end of the anime something happens that is not very well explained although I can't say what it is because it's a big spoiler

Characters 3/10

The characters are very stereotypical and were easily read.

-Haru goes to school knowing that all of her classmates are trying to kill her, and she also tried to befriend these people

-When Haru and Tokaku first met Tokaku showed that she was already changing even though they JUST met. And shortly after that they become friend and become to like each other, it just happened way too fast.

-When an assassin is about to kill Haru, even though they have a huge chance they do something stupid allowing Tokaku to step in and save the day.

Soundtrack 7/10

The sound track was pretty good and is a redeeming quality for the show.

Art 8/10

It was slightly above average and looked pretty good.

Enjoyment 6/10

I actually enjoyed the show and it was able to keep me watching until the end.

Overall 6/10

It turned out to be a kinda good show despite all of the flaws it has.
