Hello and welcome to the seasonal build up. The seasonal build up is where I pick a few shows I think will be promising or very good when they start airing in the upcoming new season. This season is spring. I know it's already spring but no anime have come out yet so I'm not that late to do this. Any ways, let's get into the blog!

There are many anime coming out this season and only a few I'm actually hyped for. But before I get into those I want to note that I won't talk about any anime that are still airing that started during winter. (Little Witch Academia) While Little Witch Academia is a great anime and I can't wait to see how it ends, I won't be talking about it or any other anime that's still airing. Any ways, the first anime is Boku no Hero Academia season 2.

Boku no Hero Academia S2

Boku no Hero Academia is about a world with superpowers which are called Quirks. A boy born without a quirk meets his idol and the greatest hero, All Might who tells the boy "You can be a hero!"

The anime was pretty great and followed the manga closely, and the manga is amazing with great story, character development, and action so I expect the anime to have these as well. Let's just hope that it turns out this way. Out of all that I'm gonna list I'd have to say this is definitely the one I'm most excited about.

Clockwork Planet

Clockwork Planet is about Naoto Miura who is considered a machinery nut by the entire planet. Every moment of every day, he has his mind on gears and his hands tinkering with delicate mechanical motors, but nobody understand how he can hear and feel gears in operation, even from a long distance away. Then one day, a clockwork maiden falls from the sky, presaging events that would shake the whole world...

I'm not sure about this but it sounds pretty interesting, but also sounds a bit generic. Girl falls from sky, any one ever hear of that before? You know, Heaven's Lost Property and Hidan no Aria. Both of these were pretty good and were completely different but this anime honestly sounds a bit like Heaven's Lost Property so I'm a bit worried if this will actually be good or not.

Eromanga Sensei

Eromanga sensei is about Masamune Izumi and his little sister, who's a shut in who hasn't left her room for an entire year. She even forces her brother to bring her food when she stomps on the floor. Masamune's illustrator, Eromanga, who draws extremely perverted things, but is very reliable. Masamune never met Eromanga sensei and just thought he was a disgusting, perverted otaku, but it turns out that Eromanga is actually his sister! And to top it off they get a beautiful, female, best-selling shoujo manga creator becomes their rival!

Eromanga Sensei is a story written by the same person who wrote Oreimo so I'm a bit excited but at the same time a bit scared of what might happen. Oreimo is about incest And this looks like it will be too so I'm kinda scared, but at the same time excited because I love romance anime and Oreimo's romance actually wasn't that bad once you get past the incest part. Which actually, I found easy because it’s just fiction honestly.

Renai Boukun

A Kiss Note is a powerful notebook that makes anyone who has their name written together will instantly fall in love if they kiss each other regardless of any circumstances. This magical and very familiar item belongs to an angel named Guri whose job as cupid is to create couples. However, she accidentally writes down Aino Seiji, a regular high school student, and unless he kisses someone, Guri will die. She convinces Seiji to go kiss his crush, Hiyama Akane, the school's popular girl who turns out has even stronger feelings for him, bordering on obsessive and psychotic. Eventually Akane and Seiji come together but not before Guri decides that she likes Seiji as well. What seems awesome to most guys becomes hell for Seiji who just wants a normal relationship with girls.

This is obviously a parody of Death Note, which is part of the reason I want to watch it, along with the comedy it will have in store. And honestly, to me, it looks like this anime might be the top comedy anime of this season. Of course there are others that could be as well, but I honestly have high hopes for this one. It might even end up being on par with Gabriel Dropout’s comedy and I seriously think it might, or even go beyond.

Sakurada Reset

Sakurada Reset is about Sakurada, a small town near the Pacific Ocean, and half of it's population has some sort of unique power. These powers range from being able to enter the mind of a cat, to resetting the world back to a certain point in time in the past. There is a group known as the "Kanrikyoku" that controls and monitors the use of these powers. Asai Kei and Haruki Misora work for their school's club called "Houshi" club, which execute any missions received from the Kanrikyoku. Misora has the ability to reset the world 3 days. This means that all events and any memory of the past 3 days that "could have" happened, never happened. Kei has the ability to "remember" the past. Even after Misora uses her powers to reset the world back 3 days, Kei will retain those 3 days in his memory. Combining their powers, these two solve missions issued by the Kanrikyoku.

This sounds like it could be really good depending on how they do it. For instance, having Misora resetting the world and Kei informing her of what could happen so they could form a plan. And that sounds boring because they can just do this over and over. So it's be great if they didn't carry it out like that and have a handicap, like someone knowing what Kei can do and kidnapping him so they can try and defeat Misora. But this anime isn't action it's mystery so I think they wouldn't do exactly that but if they did it'd only be similar. I have seriously high hopes for this because it's been a while since I've seen a good mystery anime.

Yowamushi Pedal: New Generation

Yowamushi Pedal: New Generation is about the Sohoku High bicycle racing club who combined their strength to beat the reigning champions, Hakone Academy at the Interhigh national race and achieved an impressive overall victory. Now that their hot summer has ended and third-years Kinjou, Makishima, and Tadokoro have retired from the team, first-year participants in the Interhigh Onoda Sakamichi, Imaizumi Shunsuke, and Naruko Shoukichi, along with their new captain second-year Teshima Junta and vice-captain Aoyagi Hajime begin preparing as a "new team" for their second consecutive championship at the next Interhigh. In order to retake their throne, their rivals Hakone Academy have also incorporated new members and begun training as a new team. Kyoto Fushimi High is lead by the monstrous racer Midousuji Akira. The nation's top schools are all honing their skills to reach the top of the Interhigh.

I don't really like sports anime but I really like Yowamushi Pedal. Although I haven't finished the first season I do want to and I also want to finish the rest of it. This anime might be one of the best sports anime I've ever seen and I just can't wait for this.

That's about all I want to watch but I will end up watched Attack on Titan S2 because I've heard some things about the manga and am personally curious about how this will be carried out. I'm not the biggest fan of AoT so I'm sure it'll be a living hell watching this but hopefully it will show me something worthwhile when I do end up watching it.

Any ways, that's all for today's blog. Cya maties!
