Today's review is about an anime called Katekyo Hitman Reborn! It's my favorite anime and has 203 episode.
The anime is about Tsunayoshi Sawada, he gets called names such as Dame Tsuna (No Good Tsuna) and is made fun of because he's not good at anything. One day a baby named Reborn shows up at his house and says he's his tutor and is going to train him to take over the strongest mafia family, the Vongola.
The first 18 - 20 episodes of this are basically just comedy and getting to know the characters, there is action but for the most part it's comedy and the completely awesome.
Plot 8/10
The plot is pretty good, It's about Reborn training Tsuna into the greatest mafia boss and is quiet exciting to see him fight. THIS SECTION CONTAINS HEAVY SPOILER. READ AT YOUR OWN RISK.
-Tsuna's dad, Iemitsu invites Mukuro Rokudo to join Tsuna's mafia family even though Mukuro tried to steal Tsuna's body to take over the mafia world.
-Tsuna is able to beat pretty much every one in Future arc without a box weapon even though they made it sound as if he needed one. And he only had to use his twice, the first time being just so he could show it off.
-In the last arc they could have simply solved the problem by going back in time and killing Byakuran but didn't because he'd be useful in the future and ends up helping Tsuna after he beats him in the future.
Characters 8/10
I pretty much liked every character and they all developed well, especially Tsuna who was a complete coward at the beginning. He turned from a coward to a strong mafia boss over the course of the anime although there were some things wrong with the character development.
- Mukuro Rokudo goes from hating the mafia and wanting Tsuna's body to joining the mafia and working with Tsuna. Although Mukuro's character is written very good and develops a lot this still makes no since since it happened over night
-The same thing with happened with Byakuran who killed several people in the Vongola, after Tsuna beats him in the future he joined up with Tsuna after Tsuna went back to the past.
-Haru and Kyoko do not develop at all, or so I feel. They were just the same through out the show, the only thing that were notable about them is that they both helped Tsuna in the future.
Soundtrack 9/10
The sound tack on this anime is amazing. I didn't like an opening (I forget which one because of how long ago I watched it) but I still found that opening to be good. And it's not just the openings, the entire sound tack is amazing.
Art 7/10
The art is pretty good but not amazing. Although I do really like the art style, and I like the old art styles in general. It's just kinda average, although it does get better through out the series
Enjoyment 9/10
I enjoyed almost every second of this anime, except for the episode where they go to the zoo. I'm not sure why but I don't like that episode.
Overall 9/10
This anime is amazing, it has a great sound track, great characters, good action, decent art, what more could you ask for? I definitely recommend watching this one if you have the time.
