Yo maties. I've recently started a series of Zero no Tsukaima reviews but I decided to put off the second review due to not being able to watch any anime recently. But now I can again so I watched a few anime movies like King of Thorn and Persona 3 to get back into the swing of things. I ended up deciding to watch this anime out of bordem before I started to watch the second season of Zero no Tsukaima and just...... I'll tell you in the review.
Die Now is about the word cerebrum refers to a gigantic system consisting of collision universes, which is called cerebrum universe. The story starts from a series of unknown murders, unraveling the secret hiding beneath the entire universe, ranging from horrifying conspiracies to galaxy wars, from anti-human betrayals to honorable sacrifices. Having realized her weakness and backwardness, mankind takes the last stand.
Plot 6/10
I only got one episode in and just..... UGGGG. This anime looked like garbage. I finished the episode hoping it would get better but it didn't, it only got worse. I came up with a scoring system. A good one. And it worked on all my reviews when I checked it. The results were almost the exact same except for a few. And all those reviews were an entire anime. I only watched one episode on this and it got a six. A SIX!
-The MC and other people in the club are making a movie based on a real crime. They get up to a certain point and stop. In the movie they talked about Jilu who was murdered. Then after a bit the MC was walking with his girlfriend when his friend came up from behind and put his around the MC's girlfriend messing around. The MC then says "I'm gonna send you to Jilu" or something like that joking around. A camera picks this up and instantly tightens the security around the MC thinking he knows something. AND THEY DO THIS WITHOUT CONFIRMING THAT HE ACTUALLY DOES KNOW SOMETHING. If they would have taken their time to check they could have seen the MC is in the movie club and is doing a movie on this case.
-Remember that camera from before? I just wanna point out that this is an entire campus. They could be watching anyone. But for plot they luckily were watching our MC.
-Also, remember the situation with the MC's girlfriend. You know, where his friend puts his arm around her messing around? That entire situation was there just so the MC would say "I'll send you to meet Jilu".
-When the MC ask about the script pointing out that police wouldn't send a fake letter his friend goes into detail about the actual case. He even pointed out what was in the letter. I can understand his uncle telling him some details about the case be I highly doubt an actual police officer would tell his nephew about the evidence as well.
-These police officers are also really bad. Any one could have just come to the conclusion that the letter was written before he was dead in case you know, he died. But end up leaving it as unexplained.
-Two seconds after they clicked the video, not even enough time for her to come on scene, the MC and his friend noticed that the one in the movie wasn't the MCs girlfriend but some one else.
-After receiving the letter the MC's girlfriend starts panicking. But a normal person wouldn't panic for more than a second. She panicked just to make the scene a bit more exciting and mysterious, and it helps cut down time by having her run to a room instead of checking if it was a prank or not.
-The plot so far is just moving along for no reason at all.
Characters 6/10
Seriously. One episode in and they already got a six. AGAIN.
-The MC and his girlfriends romance seems so forced it's not funny.
-The MC is so desperate to go on a date with his girlfriend he didn't care if she left half way through.
The MC punches his friends calling them a beast just for putting their are around his girlfriend.
-The MC is so desperate to even just talk to his girlfriend he even joined her club that he has no interest in.
-The MC's and characters names aren't even worth remembering. Shit, i don't even remember them and I'm doing a review, where I should remember the names.
Animation 5/10
This part of the review has no system and I judge it on what I see fit.
The animations is SOOOOO BAD. Like, sometimes when they're walking it looks like they're feet are gliding of the fucking floor.
Art 6/10
It's bad as well.
Soundtrack 5/10
I didn't even realize there was a soundtrack until I came to this segment. Wanna know why? It's so fucking bad you don't even realize it's there.
Enjoyment 5/10
I hopped in to this with high hopes and had them all crushed.
Overall 5/10
Although after the last two bits I judged on what I thought they deserved, I do have a system for this. I add up all the scores then divide them by how many segments there are then divide the sum by that number. Or put simply I found the mean of them.
Also, this anime got a 5. And it was all based one one episode. So I defiantly recommend not watching this..... But it's up to you.
Any ways, next time I post it'll be the season 2 review of Zero no Tsukaima.
Cya maties.
